Which costs are applied when using Spliiit?

In order to keep Spliiit running properly and to cover transaction costs, we apply a commission according to the following rules.

I am a co-subscriber

I joined a sharing offer, a commission of 5% + 50 cents is applied each month.

Example: for a sharing offer at 4€ per month, the monthly commission amount will be 70 cents, i.e. a total of 4,70€ per month.

I am the owner of a subscription

If I share my subscription in public, a connection fee is applied only the first month for each new co-subscriber. This fee is 25% of the transaction amount, capped at 1€.

Example 1: A co-subscriber joins my sharing at 2€ per month. The first month he joins, I will receive 1.50€ (2€ minus the 25% commission, i.e. 50 cents). The following months I will receive 2€.

Example 2: A co-subscriber joins my share at 8€ per month. The first month he joins, I will receive 7€ (8€ minus the 25% commission or 2€ but capped at 1€). The following months I will receive 8€.

If I share my subscription privately, I have no fees.

How to get access to the subscription?

Once the subscription owner has accepted your request, you will be able to access the service.

There are two types of subscription sharing depending on the service:

Password sharing (the owner will share his login details with you).

* Invitation link sharing (the owner will ask you for your email address in order to invite you in his subscription). Ex: Spotify, YouTube, Nintendo Switch Online etc.

Accessing a subscription with password sharing

On your subscriptions page, select the subscription for which you want to get the credentials.
Click on Access the subscription.
Scroll down the page and click on Credentials.
Enter your PIN code to display the credentials.

Accessing a subscription with a shared invitation link

On your subscriptions page, select the subscription for which you wish to transmit your e-mail.
Click on Access the subscription.
Scroll down to the page and click on Nickname.
Enter your email address.
The owner will send you an invitation link by email to join their membership.

| Only the owner of the subscription can see your email address in the group chat. Other co-subscribers cannot see it.

Spliiit ${color}[#000000](brings together users) who have subscribed to a platform and who wish to share available slots offered by their subscription in order to divide the costs while respecting the simultaneity of the screens (in the case of video on demand platforms - Netflix for example) or of the listening (in the case of music platforms - Spotify for example) offered by their subscription.

Within the framework of its activity, Spliiit does not infringe copyright nor does it violate the contractual terms of the platforms.

Moreover, Spliiit ensures in its own terms and conditions that subscribers respect the platforms' terms and conditions.

How do I transfer my wallet to my bank account?

To transfer your wallet for the first time, you need to check your profile first. This is explained in the article How do I check my profile?

Transfer funds

Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the home page.
In the menu that appears, click on the Amount of your wallet.
Under the amount of Validated Funds, you can click on Recover my funds.
Then select Bank Transfer.
Choose the amount to transfer to your account and click on Confirm.
