# What is the difference between validated funds and next?

When you share a subscription as an owner, you receive payments from your co-subscribers in your wallet.

Payments for the current month are **validated 30 days after** they are received to ensure that the co-subscribers have had **access to the service for the full month**.

To recap: 
* **Validated funds** is the amount of your wallet available for use.
* **Next** is the total of **payments waiting for validation**.

| Your wallet can be used to pay for other subscriptions, for example.
